VLAIO helps your business get back on track after Brexit.
VLAIO, the contact point for entrepreneurs in Flanders, approached Chase with a request to launch an advertising campaign. The goal: to support small and large businesses in Belgium that are not yet familiar with the Brexit Adjustment Reserve (BAR).

BAR is a financial contribution for businesses in EU Member States, regions, and sectors affected by the negative consequences of the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union (Brexit). By supporting adjustments to business processes, Flemish entrepreneurs can continue doing business with peace of mind.

Challenge

  • Developing a strategy that appeals to Flemish entrepreneurs.
  • Convincing Flemish entrepreneurs that doing business in and with the UK is still worthwhile.
  • Helping Flemish entrepreneurs easily navigate the process of submitting an application to the Brexit Adjustment Reserve team at Vlaio.
  • Making the message about BAR clear and inviting. Highlighting the program’s strengths and the opportunities it offers companies. Raising awareness of the support provided by the Flemish Government to entrepreneurs doing business with the United Kingdom.
  • Informing decision-makers in the Flemish business community about the program's potential.
  • Focusing on the sectors where the “UK challenges” are most acute.
  • Encouraging Flemish C-level executives and SMEs to contact the helpdesk and/or submit an application immediately.

Result

  • A funnel for Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google that made it easier to access the BAR form and team.
  • Social media videos on Facebook and LinkedIn focused on reach (awareness) among entrepreneurs in four sectors: agri-food, logistics, retail, and tourism. Retargeting ads in the form of photo carousels with a call to action leading to the landing page.
  • Tracking visitors who reached the landing page after searching for relevant keywords on Google.
  • 40% more application files during a three-month campaign period.
  • We reached nearly 700,000 entrepreneurs, generated 4.2 million impressions, and achieved the highest engagement (most views with the longest watch time) primarily on LinkedIn.
